Calling All Prayer Warriors:

We have been convicted by God that we must pray over our country as we head into 2025 and beyond. We will be hosting 3 prayer gatherings over the coming months. This time is open to any mature friends of Jesus who believe in the power of God and the call to prayer to enforce his kingdom on earth. We desire to take prayer and discipleship very seriously and we know that God moves when his people move towards him.

We’ve all heard phrases around election time like “I voted, I did my duty, now it’s up to them” or “if you don’t vote, don’t complain.”  But this attitude is unbiblical. It is not only recorded in the Bible, it is COMMANDED that we pray for our country and nation and elected leaders.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

There is also the account of King Josiah in 2 Kings 22 where the Lord relented of his judgement for seventeen years because of the response of the people in prayer and fasting.

The incoming president is not going to heal the country.

The candidate who lost would not have healed the country.

The greatest candidate you could find in 100 election cycles will not heal the country.

Our hope is in God, not man. God has used kings both good and evil to heal as well as to bring judgement. We stand at a time in our nation’s history where we are poised to gain it all or lose it all. There are no passenger seats for the follower of Jesus. Do not be lukewarm.

Each gathering will begin at 3:00pm with a brief devotional and lead into worship and prayer for as long as the spirit leads us. But come and go as you please!
